Take a look at this small bathroom Reno
When doing this bathroom, we selected a more modern look
Texture is important in creating this space
I began by selecting a cabinet from Ikea. This two drawer high gloss gray unit with a clean white counter is the perfect start!
The window needed to be removed from this small space to make room
It is floating on the wall leaving the floor space open which makes the room look larger.
I chose 4" x 16 " white subway tiles and on the wall I staggered them vertically and to accent I selected a beautiful gray linear glass tile.
It really gives a great look.
We removed the existing tub and put a shower. I decided to install the tile horizontally to give a unique look. The same gray glass as an accent going right up and across the ceiling of the shower.
The walls are complete with a pewter wallpaper to add that extra texture

Refinishing a front door
This door is dated and in need of some work. The oak door had weather damage and needed a fresh new look.
When dealing with something like this the best thing to do is stain the wood in a dark colour.
Oak has a very prominent grain that is beautiful but when it has many imperfections the repair can be challenging!
The door was stripped down to the bear wood and all the imperfections filled with a wood fill.
A dark brown/black finish was applied in a stain.
This dark rich colour blends all of the wood fill and the damaged parts that simply cannot be fully repaired but now is hidden with this rich stain.
A Marine finish was given over top to protect the wood as it is a strong finish for exterior doors.
The end result is gorgeous and gives the entrance a new updated look
